Terms of Service

These terms describe how Botlery works with clients. They're written in plain English on purpose โ€” if anything is unclear, email hello@botlery.com before ordering and we'll clarify in writing.

What we do

Botlery is a small dedicated team of developers (not an agency) that builds custom AI chatbots, AI voice agents and AI phone agents for small businesses, trained on the client's real services, prices and policies.

Free demo first โ€” pay only if you're happy

We build a working demo at no cost and with no card required. You test it live. You pay only if you decide to keep it. If you're not happy with the demo, you owe nothing and we part as friends.

Plans and what they include

  • Fully managed chatbot โ€” $10/month or $100/year (2 months free). Runs on our accounts. Hosting, AI usage costs, maintenance and reasonable content updates (your prices, services, FAQs) are included. No contract: cancel anytime and you owe nothing further from the next billing period. If you later want to own it, pay the one-time price and we move it to your accounts.
  • One-time builds โ€” $200 (chatbot) / $300 (voice or phone agent). Built on your own accounts: you own the agent, the accounts and the data outright. You cover your own AI usage costs, paid directly to the provider (typically a few dollars a month for a local business). We set everything up and hand it over working, with simple instructions.

There are no per-minute or per-caller fees from Botlery on any plan.

Support after handover (one-time builds)

For 30 days after handover, we fix anything that breaks โ€” including issues caused by provider/API changes โ€” free of charge. After 30 days, we're still available: we'll quote a fair flat rate for any fix or change before doing the work, and you decide. Managed-plan chatbots are maintained by us for as long as you subscribe.

What we need from you

Accurate business information (services, prices, policies) to train your agent, and timely responses during the build. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information your agent is trained on and for complying with laws that apply to your business (for example, rules about call handling in your industry).

Honest limitations

AI agents are very good but not perfect: they can occasionally misunderstand or give an imperfect answer. We guardrail every agent to stay on-topic and to say "I'll have the owner follow up" rather than guess. Botlery's liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect losses (lost profits, lost business).

Payments and refunds

Because you test a free working demo before paying, all payments are made after you've seen the product work. Managed-plan payments already made are not refunded when you cancel, but you keep service through the period you paid for. If we ever fail to deliver what we agreed in writing, we'll refund what you paid for the undelivered work.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, the new version applies to new orders from its "last updated" date โ€” never retroactively to work already agreed.
